Turkey begins Euro 2020 qualifying effort with win over Albania



Turkey serenely beat Albania 2-0 far from home toward the beginning of 2020 European Championship qualifying Friday.

Burak Yılmaz gave the guests an early lead as he scored the opening objective at the 21st moment. Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored a protection objective toward the beginning of the second half in the 55th moment.

Turkey is in Group H with France, Iceland, Albania, Moldova and Andorra.

Beşiktaş mentor Şenol Güneş drove Turkey against Albania before authoritatively assuming responsibility for the group beginning June 1.

After the match, Güneş and group commander Emre Belözoğlu got salutary calls from Ankara, with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan offering his congrats for the national group's Euro 2020 qualifiers triumph.

On March 25, Turkey will play against Moldova at home in Eskişehir in the second gathering matches.

The victor and sprinter up from 10 bunches each will consequently meet all requirements for the UEFA Euro 2020 last competition.

The Euro 2020 qualifiers will decide 20 groups while four others will qualify from the UEFA Nations League playoffs in March 2020.
